Rezolvarea exercițiului de la lecția 14:

Lesson 15 Let’s ask,and talk about dates !=Să întrebăm și să vorbim despre date !

Numeralul cardinal :

one=1;two=2=;three=e;four=4;five=5;six=6;seven=7;eight=8;nine=9;ten=10;eleven=11;twelve=12.

Între 13 și 19 terminația este „teen”thirteen=13;fourteen=14;fifteen=15;sixteen=16;seventeen=17;eighteen=18;nineteen=19.Între 20-90,dacă numarăm din zece în zece,terminația este „ty”twenty=20;thirty=30;forty=40;fifty=50;sixty=60;seventy=70;eighty=80;ninety=90;Între 20 și 30 se numără adăugând cifrele de la 1 la 9 la twenty.twenty-one=21;twenty-two=22;twenty-three=23;twenty-four=24,etc.

Aceeași metodă se aplică  între 31 și 99 .thirty-five=35;forty-six=46;fifty-eight=58;sixty-one=61;seventy-four=74;eighty-two=82;ninety-nine=99

O sută spunem one hundred 

101=one hundred and one;120=one hundred and twenty;135=one hundred and thirty-five.

O mie spunem one thousand.

e.g. „How old is your grandma ?”=Câți ani are bunica ta ?

„She is sixty-eight”=Ea are 68 de ani 

Numeralul ordinal-arătă  ordinea lucrurilor și ne ajută la exprimarea datei.

first=primul,prima;second=al doilea,a doua;third=al treilea,a treia.

De la a patra până la a douăzecea folosim terminația „th”.

fourth,fifth....tenth,twentieth.La a douăzeci  și una =twenty-first

a douăzeci si doua=twenty-second;a douăzeci și treia=twenty-third.

De la a douăzeci și patru până la treizecea,folosim terminația  „th”twenty-fourth (24th)

e.g.”What’s the date today?”=Ce dată este astăzi?

„It’s the third of March”=Este trei martie.

„When is your birthday ?’=Când este ziua ta de naștere.

„It’s on the fifth of June „=Este pe cinci iunie 

„The nineth month of the year is September”=A noua lună anului este septembrie.
